I currently live in Bewdley, Worcestershire with my partner, our bulldog and a bunch of rescue hens.
I started drawing in 2010 and started experimenting with watercolours and inks a couple of years later, painting both figurative and wildlife pieces. In 2015, I turned professional and have had work for sale over the last few years in a number of large and small retail outlets including Next, Wayfair and Amazon. I am currently represented for originals in the UK by Demontfort Fine Art Ltd., through their Whitewall Galleries and Clarendon Fine Art brands. As far as the overseas market is concerned, I have a number of individual collectors abroad, with my most recent group show taking place at the HG Contemporary Gallery in New York in late 2018.
These days, I generally take my models solely from the animal world – from forests, gardens, reserves, riverbanks and countryside. I draw and paint all types of beautiful wildlife, from the humble bumble bee through to majestic big cats. In most cases, the subjects’ eyes tend to be the focus of my attention, with the pieces rendered in either watercolour or charcoal. Although my original pieces are sold via DeMontfort Fine Art, I have a wide range of signed, limited edition, giclee prints for sale, with a free digital catalogue available upon request. I also undertake weekend workshops in Bewdley which are designed for beginners and more advances artists alike.
